The love of my life served in Vietnam, and also was a man who loved the Lord greatly. He was God's pointman ... that's all, no heroics, but God honored his request. The one time he spotted an enemy scout getting too close, he had time to turn his gun around, knock the scout out with the butt end, and capture him. That was the only time, in three tours of duty, that he had to do violence.
