Hello, greetings to all the artists of #hive.
After several days away from the platform without creating content, today I set out to bring you a small painting with a very Cuban theme. It's about the bicitaxis, in the streets of the historic center of Havana, bicycle taxis are adapted tricycles with two large bus seats in the back that provide a transport service to people on foot for short sections. They move within the city everywhere, they know how to get to all places and if you don't want to walk in the sun they take you and bring you for a minimum price. Every day more people with these bike taxis appear all over the city, they are already part of the everyday landscape. There is even a healthy rivalry between them to see who has the most beautiful car. The engineering of Cubans to do things with few resources is very great. There are them with a lithium battery and engine, horns, breeders and even a truck cornet, when they dream of it, it looks like a drag is coming at full speed. 😂

Step by step of the creative processes from start to finished
Oil/canvas 23x43 cm, initial stain with acrylic paint.
- We started this time with the canvas previously stained with acrylic paint from the previous day.
Yes, my friends, when I paint at home I usually make a general stain of acrylic paint to serve as a guide and I also look for effects that bring richness to the work, so when I go to start painting with oil, what was done before is completely dry.
- Respecting some parts of the fund, I try to enrich the work by adding large planes of lights and shadow.
- According to the theory of oil painting, it is recommended to paint the shadows with a small amount of paint leaving the pastes exclusively for the light areas.
Completed Work
- It is a relatively easy activity when you already master the materials you work with. You can mix a brush with spatulas to give it a more modern touch and give it other types of textures.

Hola, un saludo a todos los artistas de #hive.
Después de varios días alejados de la plataforma sin crear contenido, hoy me dispuse a traerles una pintura pequeña de una temática muy cubana. Se trata de los bicitaxis, en las calles del casco histórico de La Habana, los bicitaxis son triciclos adaptados con dos asientos grandes de guagua en la parte trasera que brindan un servicio de transporte a las personas de a pies por tramos cortos. Se mueven dentro de la ciudad por todas partes, saben llegar a todos los sitios y si no quieres caminar bajo el sol ellos te llevan y traen por un precio mínimo. Cada día aparecen mas personas con estos bicitaxis por todas la ciudad, ya forman parte del paisaje cotidiano. Hay hasta una rivalidad sana entre ellos para ver quien tiene el carro mas bonito. La ingeniería de los cubanos para hacer cosas con pocos recursos es muy grande. Los hay con batería de litio y motor, bocinas, reproductoras y hasta una corneta de camión, cuando la sueñan tal parece que viene una rastra a toda velocidad. 😂

Paso a paso del proceso creativo desde principio a fin
Óleo/lienzo 23x43 cm, mancha inicial con pintura acrílica.
- Empezamos esta vez con el lienzo previamente manchado con pintura acrílica de un día anterior.
Si mis amigos yo usualmente cuando pinto en casa hago una mancha general de pintura acrílica para que me sirva de guía y además busco efectos que le aportan riqueza al trabajo, así cuando voy a empezar a pintar con óleo ya está completamente seco lo que se hizo anteriormente.
- Respetando alguna partes del fondo trato de enriquecer el trabajo agregando grandes planos de luces y sombra.
- Según la teoría de la pintura al óleo, se recomienda pintar las sombras con poca cantidad de pintura dejando las pastas exclusivamente para las áreas de luces.
Trabajo Finalizado
Es una actividad relativamente fácil cuando ya dominas los materiales con los que trabajas. Se pueden mezclar pincel con espátulas para darle un toque más moderno y le aporta otro tipo de texturas.

It is a very nice, warm painting. And the previous works with these bicitaxis are cool. The one that broke is funny (and sad as probably there are roads in that condition that en up breaking the vehicles)
