we tend to think of aliens as young or at their prime in life but the truth of the matter is that they also get old. this is a recent shot of one of the many i encounter in my daily circles
and here is a shot of the same fellow as a mature adult taken by my grandfather 180 years ago, long before i was born
and just for reference, this beech tree was about 180 years old when it was cut down due to some fungal infection rotting out its teeth
