Hello dear friends, I hope you are well, on this occasion I come to participate in the 294 Splinterlands contest with the Wood Nymph card, a beautiful lady of the forest with a very beautiful and tender design. This time I have humanized her using the anime style of an elf girl, I have left her hair and eyes green as her essence and I have changed the tone of her skin to a more human tone. I really liked the process and here I share it with you.
Hola queridos amigos, espero que se encuentren muy bien, en esta oportunidad vengo a participar en el concurso 294 de Splinterlands con la carta de Wood Nymph, una hermosa dama del bosque con un diseño muy hermoso y tierno. En esta oportunidad yo la he humanizado utilizando el estilo anime de una chica elfo, he dejado su cabello y sus ojos verdes como su esencia y he cambiado la tonalidad de su piel a un tono más humano. Me gustó mucho el proceso y aquí lo comparto con ustedes.

I made a sketch with the line technique that is used to draw anime, where we make geometric figures to which we give shapes through lines. Here you can see how I made a circle for the middle of the face that is then joined with a "V" shaped figure to complete the face. Then a line is drawn to divide the figure in two, and it is taken as a reference for the nose, as well as the eyes and mouth.
Hice un boceto con la técnica de líneas que se usa para dibujar anime, donde hacemos figuras geométricas a las cuales le vamos dando formas a través de líneas. Aquí pueden ver como hice un círculo para la mitad del rostro que luego se une con una figura en forma de "V" para completar el rostro. Luego se pasa una línea que divida la figura en dos, y se toma como referencia para la nariz, así mismo con los ojos y la boca.

Once the sketch was ready, I started by painting the hair green. I decided to start here since I realized that it is the part where it would last the longest and have the most color. I used various shades of green to give that feeling of volume and depth between light and dark parts.
Ya listo el boceto comencé por pintar de color verde el cabello, decidí comenzar por aquí ya que me di cuenta que es la parte donde duraría más tiempo y llevaría mas color. Utilicé varios tonos de color verde para dar esa sensación de volumen y profundidad entre partes claras y oscuras.

The next step was to paint the eyes, here I used all my creativity to make those eyes look like a green Jade crystal. I also used a little blue, I left the lighting last for when I finished the drawing since they are small details.
El siguiente paso fue pintar los ojos, aquí utilicé toda mi creatividad para hacer que esos ojos parecieran un cristal de Jade verde. También utilicé un poco de color azul, la iluminación la dejé de último lugar para cuando finalicé el dibujo ya que son pequeños detalles.

After that I started to paint the skin, here I used colors like in anime drawings, since my goal is to make it human but keeping its powerful essence in the color green. Next I painted part of the dress she is wearing green.
Después de eso comencé a pintar la piel, aquí utilicé colores como en los dibujos de anime, ya que mi objetivo es convertirla en humana pero manteniendo su esencia poderosa en el color verde. Seguidamente pinté de verde parte del vestido que lleva puesto.

Now I apply the blending technique, take a very soft brush, soak it in mineral oil and immediately the wax color of the colored pencils begins to dilute and mix, shaping a new texture and covering more of the surface. I put special emphasis on hair and eyes. I did not apply the same technique on the skin.
Ahora aplico la ténica del difuminado, copn un pincel muy suave, lo remojo en aceite mineral y en seguida el color de cera de los lápices de colores comienza a diluirse y a mezclarse dando forma a una nueva textura y cubriendo más la superficie. Hago especial énfasis en el cabello y los ojos. No apliqué la mista técnica sobra la piel.

To finish I add the small details, first I begin to outline the entire contour with a very fine brush and black paint, starting with the hair. And then I change to white paint and do the lighting in the eyes that I mentioned at the beginning, I also add details of light reflections in the hair.
Para finalizar agrego los pequeños detalles, primero comienzo a delinear todo el contorno con un pincel muy fino y pintura negra, comenzando por el cabello. Y después cambio a pintura blanca y hago la iluminación en los ojos que comenté al principio, tambien agrego detalles de reflejos de luz en el cabello.
This is how my Wood Nymph fan art is finished, what do you think? I think she looks very cute as an anime character, although I needed more details to make her look more similar, but I achieved my goal of humanizing her, if that word can be said in this case. For the most part I am pleased, I had not used my colored pencils for a long time, since I had focused only on acrylic painting, but here you have a mixed art work, I hope you like it. Así ha quedado finalizado mi fan art de Wood Nymph, que les parece? yo creo que se ve muy tierna como personaje de anime, aunque me faltaron mas detalles para que se pareciera más, pero logre mi cometido de humanizarla, si se puede decir esa palabra en este caso. Por lo dmeás estoy complacido, tenía mucho tiempo sin utilizar mis lápices de color, ya que me había enfocado solo en la pintura acrílica, pero aquí tienen un trabajo de arte mixto, espero que les guste.
