Saludos amigos apasionados por el arte cósmico. Hoy presento una nueva creación artística, tipo ilustración imaginaria, que ha sido pintada con acrílico sobre lienzo. Se titula "Residual Alien", y de manera sugerente, alude a la imagen residual de la figura de ciencia ficción, del extraterrestre antagonista de la serie cinematográfica Alien. En este caso, representada lejos del perfeccionismo fotográfico a nivel de diseño y de la inteligencia artificial. En ese sentido, he considerado innovaciones o hibridaciones que se asemejan más a un error de construcción. Ese rasgo escueto y hasta tosco es lo que me gusta en detalle de esta pieza artística. Este es el resultado del trabajo rápido, improvisado e intuitivo de esta tarde. A continuación, les dejo una sarta de fotografías con la idea de evidenciar parte del proceso creativo de la pieza artística en cuestión, en su entorno inmediato.
Greetings, fellow cosmic art enthusiasts. Today I present a new artistic creation, a kind of imaginary illustration, painted with acrylic on canvas. It's titled "Residual Alien," and suggestively alludes to the residual image of the science fiction figure, the extraterrestrial antagonist from the Alien film series. In this case, it's represented far from photographic perfection in terms of design and artificial intelligence. In that sense, I've considered innovations or hybridizations that resemble a construction error more than a flaw. That stark, even rough, quality is what I find so appealing about this piece. This is the result of a quick, improvised, and intuitive work session this afternoon. Below, I've included a series of photographs to show part of the creative process behind the artwork in its immediate surroundings.
