Hello my creative friends at hive! I hope you are feeling great, today I bring you the process of this portrait of Ellie from the video game series and HBO series The Last Of Us, a portrait of a bigger ellie and which is based on Ellie's appearance from The Last Of Us Part 2. - Lo que utilice para realizar el dibujo en tradicional en una hoja tipo cartulina tamaño 35 x 28 cm, un lápiz de grafito 2 HB y un borrador (corté mi borrador haciendo que las esquinas quedarán en punta así será más fácil borrar espacios pequeños), mis colores, un marcador marrón y amarillo y un corrector líquido blanco.
- What I used to make the drawing in traditional on a cardboard type sheet size 35 x 28 cm, a graphite pencil 2 HB and an eraser (I cut my eraser making the corners to be pointed so it will be easier to erase small spaces), my colors, a brown and yellow marker and a white liquid corrector.
Comencé haciendo un boceto del rostro el cual tuve de referencia una imagen de pinterest, al tener listo el boceto comencé a hacer las sombras del rostro usando azul y rosado, con marrón delinee la línea de sus labios y sombree debajo de sus ojos, con azul y gris pinte el interior de sus ojos y con verde y azul hice el tono de sus irises. Con color naranja fui haciendo una capa del tono de su piel y también haciendo un rubor del mismo color, con color durazno y un poco de rojo pinte sus labios y usé un marcador marrón para pintar el tono base de todo su cabello.
I started by making a sketch of the face which I had as a reference an image from pinterest, when I had the sketch ready I started to make the shadows of the face using blue and pink, with brown I outlined the line of her lips and shaded under her eyes, with blue and gray I painted the inside of her eyes and with green and blue I made the tone of her irises. With orange I layered her skin tone and also made a blush of the same color, with peach and a little red I painted her lips and used a brown marker to paint the base tone of all her hair.
Con color negro fui haciendo las sombras en el cabello y a su vez hice los detalles, con marrón y negro pinte y detalle sus cejas y dejé un espacio en una de ellas ya que ellie tiene una cicatriz allí, con color durazno unifique el tono de piel y con rojo hice un poco más notorio el rubor. Con un color amarillo mostaza pinte las partes más claras de su cabello y con casi todo el dibujo terminado comencé a pintar sus camisas, con verde oscuro y marrón pinte la camisa de cuadros y con un amarillo claro pinte la camisa de adentro. Para agregar más detalles use un marcador marrón para hacer las pecas en sus mejillas, nariz y otras partes del rostro y cuello, con color negro hice sus pestañas. Ya con el dibujo principal listo decidí hacer un fondo simple, busque el diseño de su tatuaje y lo hice con lápiz.
With black color I made the shadows in the hair and in turn I made the details, with brown and black I painted and detailed her eyebrows and left a space in one of them since Ellie has a scar there, with peach color I made the skin tone uniform and with red color I made the blush a little more noticeable. With a mustard yellow color I painted the lighter parts of her hair and with almost all the drawing finished I started to paint her shirts, with dark green and brown I painted the checkered shirt and with a light yellow I painted the inside shirt. To add more details I used a brown marker to make the freckles on his cheeks, nose and other parts of his face and neck, with black color I made his eyelashes. With the main drawing ready I decided to make a simple background, I looked for the design of her tattoo and made it with pencil.
Este es el resultado del dibujo, ya para terminar lo que hice fue usar un corrector líquido blanco para pintar los brillos de sus ojos, nariz y labios, además con un poco de su tinta resalte un poco las cicatrices. Quise volver a dibujar a Ellie de la versión de The Last Of Us Parte 2 ya que siento que mi estilo de dibujo para rostros y el coloreado ha cambiado un poco además el último dibujo que había hecho de ella no me había dejado muy satisfecha pero este me encantó. ❤️✨
This is the result of the drawing, and to finish what I did was to use a white liquid concealer to paint the brightness of her eyes, nose and lips, also with a little bit of it ink I highlighted a little bit the scars. I wanted to redraw Ellie from The Last Of Us Part 2 version as I feel that my drawing style for faces and coloring has changed a bit plus the last drawing I had done of her hadn't left me very satisfied but I loved this one. ❤️✨
