After a year of drawing this on and off, I finally finished it! I don't know how I was able to finish it even, since I tend to abandon works if it has been in progress for weeks. I guess the message of this one is so important that it gave me the motivation to do so.
Anyway, this one was quite fun to make tbh. I drew the figures one by one in their own layers. There were about 28 different figures and I just duplicated them for the numbers to look high.
I started with a black and white sketch and sort of like a "broad" idea of how it would look like. I did a lot of research on angles, lighting, and some references since landscape is my weakness. I mostly just draw close up figures or focus more on the idea rather than the technical aspects of drawing.
As you can see, the angles changed haha and I don't want to make it too complicated for my brain so I did what is simple yet easy to understand at first glance.
Each figure is its own layer so I can freely move them around and change sizes as well that corresponds to the distance etc. The amount of layer in total is 120+. 💀 The ram upgrade I did before this was so worth it haha.
I experimented with the colors as well and settled with the figures position and sizes too.
I then decided to change the background colors. :P
Then I added the abstract colors and stuff with different brushes and also the doodles to make it look candy-vibe. I was originally planning on adding big trees and candies in a non-doodle form but I decided against it since I want the figures to be focused.
Then of course the final work.
I like that I was able to successfully combine different shapes and styles without it looking weird together. Those years of hiatus in art really gave me some knowledge in drawing and colors since I was also watching art tutorials from time to time.
I hope you like it!
Hello. Wow this is cool Glad to see you Beautiful
Thank you so much! :D
This is so cool and pretty, but also creepy coz of their head 😯😯. It's a good thing you finished it. It would be a waste if not.
Thank you! Haha yeah I like to add a bit of creepiness in my art. So true. So much better finishing something and maybe potentially not liking the result than not finishing at all. Who knows it might be the best thing you've done. :D
This turned out super badass! Glad to see you 'arting' again!
Thank you! Yeah it's been a while haha and you know what sort of triggered that thing and gave me more motivation? The makeup stuff I was doing! It's the same as painting that's why haha
Makeup is art too! I think the creative beauty makeups are definitely a lot like painting. Sometimes the makeup has more options that paint does so it's very open to being super creative. Don't stop taking photos, painting, or doing the makeup stuff. Hopefully y'all get the hardware stuff sorted and things start picking up momentum soon! Cheers
Yeah the creative makeups by others inspired me so much as well. They're so cool haha. Thank you! :D Definitely won't now that I know how to take care of myself better :D
Wow, this is great
Thank you!
Awesome! Congrats

Thank you!
The different colors give a good idea that everyone has its own opinions, thinking, emotions and so no and then the world eat you alive... Would have been cool see the remains of the people after being eaten
Interesting to see from your point of view. My message is actually opposite 😅 They are all blind followers and can't think for themselves. The colors are different purely for color harmony and style since they are all in black and white and only one color would not look "balanced". But yeah I see why you see it that way :D
Hehe art is cool because everyone can have it's own interpretation, doesn't it?
