Thank you for sharing this. I really enjoy the colour palette that you have used, it was one that I try to focus on in my own photography. You've done a really good job at splitting the composition along the sides of the colour wheel too.
I have to ask though - the final product is mirrored from the progress shots. As I am not an illustrator or painter, I struggle with the way perspective is handled when switching from one a horizontal mirror to the final piece, and I really appreciate the talent involved keeping the proportions and perspective consistent even after such a flip.
This also reminds me of the work of the Pre-Raphaelite painters!

I sometimes flip the image to check balance and proportions, and this time I liked how it looked that way in the end.
