Why am I obsessed with flowers?
I have been experimenting with combining my own garden footage with some nature videos from the Prelinger archives (a site that has free to use archival videos). I found an old nature documentary that has a lot of time lapse videos of flowers blooming. Theres something about the way they move towards the sun that just looks really cool :D
I can't upload video here obviously but this is a still from my personal garden. We essentially have a hedge of rose, goldenrod, blackberry and other grasses and wildflowers all around the edge of our property.
Imagine these flowers dancing in the breeze
I used photomosh to combine these videos in layers using various blend modes and ths one ended up being my favorite result, I always seem to veer towards purple lol!
