Strange, bizarre and cute - they are the balloonbursters. They belong to the family of dragon birds and has many species, like straight-beaked, curved-beaked,root-legged and creeping-legged, and their combinations. Their food is a sweet gaseous substance emanating from the balloon tree. Luckily, they drill only tiny holes in the balloons, so they also release only a little gas before the holes recover. Therefore, the name balloonburster is misleading.
