Hi everyone, it's LorentM, back in action! After a well-deserved vacation, I'm excited to dive back into the world of digital art. And what better way to do it than by participating in the exciting Splinterlands art contest.
This week I decided to revisit one of my favorite creations: anime-style Aganju! For those who don't know him, Aganju is the formidable warrior of Ferexia, known as the guardian of the volcano. He has explored the darkest and most dangerous corners of the Burning Lands, confronting terrifying creatures and uncovering buried secrets.
The inspiration for this character comes from his strength and mystery. I portray him as a stylized, muscular figure, wrapped in a hooded cloak that adds a touch of intrigue. His face is partially hidden by a mask, suggesting an enigmatic and dark past. In one hand he holds his trusty axe, ready for battle, while in the other, fire burns with supernatural power.
Aganju's fiery background and imposing pose convey a sense of power and determination. He is a warrior who has emerged from the depths of the earth to join the battle against the legion of Chaos, and I'm excited to represent him once again in this art contest.
And speaking of contests, I can't contain my joy at winning second place in the last art contest! I want to take this opportunity to congratulate all the other winners - your works were amazing and truly inspiring!

¡Hola a todos! ¡Es LorentM, de vuelta en acción! Después de unas merecidas vacaciones, estoy emocionada de sumergirme nuevamente en el mundo del arte digital. Y qué mejor manera de hacerlo que participando en el emocionante concurso de arte de Splinterlands.
Esta semana decidí retomar una de mis creaciones favoritas: ¡Aganju al estilo anime! Para aquellos que no lo conocen, Aganju es el formidable guerrero de Ferexia, conocido como el guardián del volcán. Ha explorado los rincones más oscuros y peligrosos de las Tierras Ardientes, enfrentándose a criaturas aterradoras y descubriendo secretos enterrados.
La inspiración para este personaje proviene de su fuerza y misterio. Lo retrato como una figura estilizada y musculosa, envuelta en una capa con capucha que agrega un toque de intriga. Su rostro está parcialmente oculto por una máscara, sugiriendo un pasado enigmático y oscuro. En una mano sostiene su fiel hacha, lista para la batalla, mientras que en la otra, el fuego arde con un poder sobrenatural.
El fondo ardiente y la pose imponente de Aganju transmiten una sensación de poder y determinación. Es un guerrero que ha emergido de las profundidades de la tierra para unirse a la batalla contra la legión del Caos, y estoy emocionada de representarlo una vez más en este concurso de arte.

They call him the volcano keeper. The Ferexia warrior named Aganju has gone deeper and stayed underground longer than any other human living in the Burning Lands. He has felt the invisible breath of the most frightening monsters from within the Planet, he has learned the deepest buried secrets, and his axe has made the end of many of the Burning Lands' most dangerous enemies. Now, as the Splinterlands are called toward a great battle against the Chaos legion, Aganju has emerged from the caves to join the fight.

Process / Proceso
Since I decided to bring Aganju back to life in my anime style, I knew I had an exciting journey ahead of me in my creative process.
First, I immersed myself in creating the sketch. I wanted to capture the essence of Aganju: her strength, her mystery, her connection to fire. I drew smooth, flowing lines, outlining his muscular figure and imposing stance. The hooded cape added a touch of intrigue, while the mask on her face suggested an enigmatic past.
Next, I moved on to outlining. With sure, precise strokes, I defined the contours of Aganju and the details of his attire and weapon. I wanted each line to be crisp and clear, conveying the warrior's determination.
The next step was coloring. This is where the magic really started to happen. I immersed myself in a palette of warm, vibrant colors, reflecting the power of the fire that surrounds Aganju. Each brushstroke was an opportunity to bring the character to life, from the tone of his skin to the gleam of his axe.
Once the coloring was complete, it was time to apply shadows and highlights. With patience and care, I added depth to the image, creating contrasts that brought out the most important details. The shadows enhanced Aganju's musculature, while the glows added a touch of magic to her fiery aura.
With each step, I became more immersed in Aganju's world, letting my creativity merge with her powerful spirit. And when I finally finished, I felt satisfied that I had brought this legendary warrior to life once again, in all his anime splendor.
Desde que decidí volver a traer a Aganju a la vida en mi estilo anime, supe que tenía un emocionante viaje por delante en mi proceso creativo.
Primero, me sumergí en la creación del boceto. Quería capturar la esencia de Aganju: su fuerza, su misterio, su conexión con el fuego. Dibujé líneas suaves y fluidas, esbozando su figura musculosa y su postura imponente. La capa con capucha añadía un toque de intriga, mientras que la máscara en su rostro sugería un pasado enigmático.
Luego, pasé al delineado. Con trazos seguros y precisos, definí los contornos de Aganju y los detalles de su atuendo y arma. Quería que cada línea fuera nítida y clara, transmitiendo la determinación del guerrero.
El siguiente paso fue el coloreado. Aquí es donde la magia realmente comenzó a suceder. Me sumergí en una paleta de colores cálidos y vibrantes, que reflejaran el poder del fuego que rodea a Aganju. Cada pincelada era una oportunidad para dar vida al personaje, desde el tono de su piel hasta el brillo de su hacha.
Una vez que el coloreado estuvo completo, llegó el momento de aplicar sombras y brillos. Con paciencia y cuidado, añadí profundidad a la imagen, creando contrastes que resaltaban los detalles más importantes. Las sombras realzaban la musculatura de Aganju, mientras que los brillos añadían un toque de magia a su aura de fuego.
Con cada paso, me sumergí más en el mundo de Aganju, dejando que mi creatividad se fusionara con su poderoso espíritu. Y cuando finalmente terminé, me sentí satisfecha de haber traído a este guerrero legendario a la vida una vez más, en todo su esplendor anime.

The tools I used for the drawing were the following:
- Android tablet.
- Capacitive pen (Stylus).
- Ibis Paint X program.
- Brushes: Pencil, Airbrush, Fuzzy, Marker.
