Process / Proceso
Entering the world of Aria Skydancer was a journey as exciting as her own adventures in the clouds. Before the young adventurer came to life on my digital canvas, it all started with a sketch that captured the essence of her vibrant personality and connection to the wind.
After defining every line and detail in the sketch, I dove into the outlining process. Each stroke had to be precise and cautious, as if I was sculpting the shape of the wind itself. The outlining not only shaped Aria, but also laid the groundwork for the magic that would follow.
That's when it was time to add color to this visual story. The color palette became my magic wand, infusing life into every corner of Aria Skydancer. Her pink and blue hair, white robe and purple cape intertwined like notes of an enchanting melody. Each color choice sought to convey her joy, curiosity and power.
However, for Aria to really come to life, she needed to play with shadows and shimmers. The shadows became the play of light and shadow that highlighted her features, giving her depth and dimension. And the shimmers, ah, the shimmers were like sparkles of magic, illuminating her eyes and highlighting the charm of her magic staff.
Each brush stroke, each applied shadow and each added shimmer were like spells in themselves, conjuring the magic of Aria Skydancer on my screen. The process of creation was not simply a succession of steps, but a dance between art and imagination, with each creative choice guiding the next move.
