Hello everyone! I'm Lorentm, a passionate digital artist, and I'm excited to be back on the art blog to share with you my latest creation. This time, I've decided to dive into the exciting world of Splinterlands and participate in their social media section every week - and let me tell you, it's been an amazing experience!
For this initiative, I set out to create a unique character that captures the essence of the Goblin Shaman. These mysterious beings inhabit the fiery forests of the Splinterlands and are masters in the art of slowing down and weakening their enemies with their enchantments - they are true magical warriors!
My source of inspiration for this project was the unforgettable character of Montgomery Burns from The Simpsons. I love how Burns is portrayed as a cunning and powerful man, able to manipulate situations to his advantage. I wanted to channel that same energy into my interpretation of the Goblin Shaman. So I set to work, combining the iconic Simpsons style with the essence of the Goblin Shaman.
The result was a Goblin Shaman with a striking and distinctive look. Inspired by the look of Montgomery Burns, my character has a mischievous expression and piercing eyes that convey his cunning and power. I used vibrant colors and deep shadows to bring out the details and create a magical atmosphere around him. I also added elements characteristic of burning forests, such as dancing flames and twisted trees, to give her a special touch.
Creating this character was an exciting challenge for me as a digital artist. I love exploring different universes and merging styles to create something unique. Splinterlands gave me the perfect opportunity to let my imagination run wild and experiment with the magic of the Goblin Shaman.
Participating in the social media section of Splinterlands has allowed me to connect with a passionate community of players and artists. It's wonderful to see our creations come to life and become part of the fascinating world of Splinterlands.

Goblins are everywhere in the Burning Lands, but they are all larger and stronger than the Goblins of Anumün. The Goblin Shaman of the Smoldering Forest are especially skilled in slowing and weakening their enemies with enchantments. Many of them can hypnotize with a simple gaze from their blood-red eyes.
Los Goblins están por todas partes en las Tierras Ardientes, pero todos son más grandes y fuertes que los Goblins de Anumün. Los Chamanes Goblins del Bosque Ardiente son especialmente hábiles a la hora de ralentizar y debilitar a sus enemigos con encantamientos. Process / Proceso
The first thing I did was to look for references to both the character Montgomery Burns from The Simpsons and the Goblin Shaman from Splinterlands. I studied their distinctive features, facial expressions, clothing and environment to get a clear idea of how I wanted to combine both elements in my illustration.
Then, I started creating an initial sketch in my graphic design program. I used simple lines to sketch the basic shape of the character and his posture. I made sure to capture the sly and powerful attitude I wanted to convey.
Once I had the basic sketch, I moved on to adding details and working on the character's anatomy. I made sure the facial features, hands and clothing reflected both the essence of Montgomery Burns and the Goblin Shaman. I adjusted the proportions and added magical and fire elements to represent his environment.
Once I was satisfied with the sketch, I created a cleaner, more defined final line. I used tracing tools in my design software to achieve smooth, precise lines. I added more details as I went along, such as wrinkles in the skin and folds in the clothing, to give the character more realism.
It was time to bring the drawing to life by coloring and shading. I used a palette of vibrant, warm colors to reflect the fiery environment. I outlined the areas of shadow and light to give the character volume and depth. I also played with different opacities and blending modes to create lighting and highlight effects.
Once the coloring and shading were complete, I added final details and special effects to enhance the magical atmosphere of the drawing. This included adding dancing flames around the character and adding subtle textures to give it more depth.
Finally, I reviewed and polished all the details of the drawing. I adjusted colors, lines and shadows as needed to achieve the desired effect. I also made sure that the background and the character were in harmony and balance.
And that's how my digital drawing of the Simpsons-style "Goblin Shaman" was created! It was an exciting and creative process that allowed me to merge two universes and create something new and unique. I hope you enjoyed the behind the scenes of this work.
Lo primero que hice fue buscar referencias tanto del personaje de Montgomery Burns de Los Simpsons como de los Goblin Shaman de Splinterlands. Estudié sus características distintivas, expresiones faciales, vestimenta y entorno para tener una idea clara de cómo quería combinar ambos elementos en mi ilustración.
Luego, comencé a crear un boceto inicial en mi programa de diseño gráfico. Utilicé líneas simples para esbozar la forma básica del personaje y su postura. Me aseguré de capturar la actitud astuta y poderosa que quería transmitir.
Una vez que tuve el boceto básico, pasé a agregar detalles y trabajar en la anatomía del personaje. Me aseguré de que los rasgos faciales, las manos y la vestimenta reflejaran tanto la esencia de Montgomery Burns como la de los Goblin Shaman. Ajusté las proporciones y añadí elementos mágicos y de fuego para representar su entorno.

Una vez que el coloreado y sombreado estuvieron completos, agregué detalles finales y efectos especiales para mejorar la atmósfera mágica del dibujo. Esto incluyó añadir llamas danzantes alrededor del personaje y agregar texturas sutiles para darle más profundidad.
