Hello everyone! I'm Lorentm, a passionate digital artist, and I'm excited to share my latest artistic adventure with you. This week, I ventured once again into the exciting Splinterlands art contest, and I've brought something special to the universe of monsters and collectible cards.
Imagine two of Splinterlands' most iconic characters, "Parasitic Growth" and "Raa," in an unusual location: a gloomy graveyard! Yes, I decided to put a Simpsonian twist on these two, and the result is something you simply can't take your eyes off of.
For those unfamiliar with Raa, this legendary Death class card is feared for its retinue of dark and powerful monsters. With abilities like Flying, Double Strike and Scattershot, he can shatter his enemies from high above and break through their defenses.
On the other hand, we have Parasitic Growth, a common but versatile card of the Neutral class. His Opportunity ability allows him to stalk the weakest enemy, and in my illustration, the panicked expression on his face as he flees from Raa is simply unmissable.
The scene takes place in a dark graveyard, where the mist creates an eerie atmosphere. The dim lighting enhances the thrill of the chase, and the contrast between these two characters is simply magnificent.

Esta semana, me aventuré una vez más en el emocionante concurso de arte de Splinterlands, y he traído algo especial al universo de los monstruos y las cartas coleccionables.
Imagínense a dos de los personajes más icónicos de Splinterlands, "Parasitic Growth" y "Raa," en un lugar inusual: ¡un cementerio sombrío! Sí, decidí darle un giro simpsoniano a estos dos, y el resultado es algo que simplemente no puedes dejar de mirar.
Para los que no conocen a Raa, esta carta legendaria de la clase Muerte es temida por su séquito de monstruos oscuros y poderosos. Con habilidades como Flying, Double Strike y Scattershot, puede hacer añicos a sus enemigos desde las alturas y romper sus defensas.
Por otro lado, tenemos a Parasitic Growth, una carta común pero versátil de la clase Neutral. Su habilidad Opportunity le permite acechar al enemigo más débil, y en mi ilustración, la expresión de pánico en su rostro mientras huye de Raa es simplemente imperdible.
La escena se desarrolla en un oscuro cementerio, donde la bruma crea una atmósfera misteriosa. La iluminación tenue realza la emoción de la persecución, y el contraste entre estos dos personajes es simplemente magnífico.

Process / Proceso
The process of creating my digital drawing was an exciting journey through layers and textures, and I would love to share it with you.
It all started with a pencil sketch on my graphics tablet. I wanted to capture the essence of Raa and Parasitic Growth in Simpsons style, so I focused on their characteristic features and the overall composition of the scene. Once I was satisfied with the sketch, I started tracing the outlines.
Outlining was an important step, as I had to bring the characters and the environment to life. I used clean, sharp lines to highlight the details of Raa and Parasitic Growth, as well as the elements of the dark graveyard. Each line helped to define the characters' personalities and create the right atmosphere.
Then came the exciting moment of coloring. I opted for vibrant, bold colors for the characters, keeping with the Simpson tones we all know and love. Raa radiated her dark and mysterious energy, while Parasitic Growth had a softer but scary look.
Shadows and shimmers were the icing on the cake. Subtle shadows on the characters and the cemetery background added depth and realism to the scene, while touches of glitter highlighted focal points and created an enigmatic lighting effect, especially with the haze in the background.
At each stage, I immersed myself in my work, adding layer after layer of detail and texture until I achieved the desired result. Each step of the process was an exciting challenge and, in the end, left me with an illustration that I hope everyone enjoys. Creating digital art is a fascinating and creative journey that allows me to bring fantasy worlds to life. until the next creation! 🎨✨
El proceso de creación de mi dibujo digital fue un emocionante viaje a través de las capas y las texturas, y me encantaría compartirlo contigo.
Todo comenzó con un boceto a lápiz en mi tableta gráfica. Quería capturar la esencia de Raa y Parasitic Growth al estilo de los Simpsons, por lo que me centré en sus rasgos característicos y en la composición general de la escena. Una vez que estuve satisfecha con el boceto, comencé a trazar los contornos.
El delineado fue un paso importante, ya que debía dar vida a los personajes y al entorno. Utilicé líneas limpias y definidas para resaltar los detalles de Raa y Parasitic Growth, así como los elementos del oscuro cementerio. Cada línea contribuyó a definir la personalidad de los personajes y a crear la atmósfera adecuada.
Luego llegó el emocionante momento de colorear. Opté por colores vibrantes y llamativos para los personajes, manteniendo los tonos Simpson que todos conocemos y amamos. Raa irradiaba su energía oscura y misteriosa, mientras que Parasitic Growth tenía un aspecto más suave pero asustado.
Las sombras y los brillos fueron la guinda del pastel. Las sombras sutiles en los personajes y en el fondo del cementerio añadieron profundidad y realismo a la escena, mientras que los toques de brillo resaltaron los puntos focales y crearon un efecto de luz enigmática, especialmente con la bruma del fondo.
En cada etapa, me sumergí en mi obra, añadiendo capa tras capa de detalles y texturas hasta que logré el resultado deseado. Cada paso del proceso fue un desafío emocionante y, al final, me dejó con una ilustración que espero que todos disfruten.
