Hello Alien Art Friends! How are you?
My interest in Umbanda, an Afro-Brazilian religion that mixes parts of African, Catholic, and indigenous religions, inspired this artwork.
This is my tribute to Exu.
Exu, a left-wing ghost who is regarded the guardian of roads and passages, has always captivated me.
I wanted to create art that represented Exu in a modern and contemporary way, that was attractive, but also meaningful and respectful.
Meu interesse pela Umbanda, religião afro-brasileira que mistura partes de religiões africanas, católicas e indígenas, inspirou esta obra.
Essa é minha homenagem a Exu.
Exu, espírito de esquerda que é considerado o guardião dos caminhos e das passagens sempre me cativou.
Queria criar uma arte que representasse Exu de uma forma moderna e contemporânea, sendo atraente mas também significativa e respeitosa.

Composition
The image is made up of a series of elements that represent different aspects of Exu.
Exu's face: Exu's face is portrayed in a masculine and strong way. He has piercing heterochromatic eyes and an enigmatic smile.
The crown: Exu's crown is usually depicted with stones and metals, representing Exu's power and authority. I decided to make it with a lotus flower.
The trident: A weapon that is associated with Exu. It represents Exu's power to open paths and remove obstacles.
The flames: I included some flame patterns to represent Exu's energy. They are a symbol of your strength and power.
The background: The background of the image is an interdimensional space, representing the material world where Exu acts.
I wanted to represent Exu as a protective spirit. Exu's strong face and enigmatic smile suggest that he is a powerful and wise spirit. The crown and trident represent your power and authority. Flames represent your energy and strength, helping people overcome obstacles.

Visualization: Start by seeking inspiration from my meditation experiences, nature, art, literature, and more. Visualize the concept and mood I want to convey in my artwork.
Model Creation: Craft a central focal point or model. This can be a stock image, and I now use MJ to create this core element.
Gathering Elements: Collect a variety of visual elements that align with my vision, including textures, patterns, and objects.
Digital Collage: Begin a digital collage session using Photoshop. Compose the elements into a cohesive composition. Experiment with placement, size, color blending, and other techniques to achieve the desired visual impact.
Fine-Tuning: Fine-tune the collage, making adjustments as needed to achieve the desired visual harmony.
Completion: Consider the artwork finished only when it matches my initial concept and vision.
Audience Reception: Share the artwork through social media or exhibitions to collect feedback and observe how viewers engage.
Reflection and Adaptation: Reflect on the feedback, using this information to adapt and evolve my creative process for future projects.
