Through this piece, I want to convey some recurrent dreams I have about the environmental apocalypse. I dream a lot about the doomsday and for good reasons, I can't really write my dreams because they can be depressing. For writing, I prefer writing a piece that makes people happy or help them in way. But, since I found Krita yesterday, I realized that I can channel my dreams into something tangible, an abstract digital art.
I am still learning all the brushes and this is the second piece I created after I installed Krita. I plan on doing it regularly so that the spark won't die, like any other ventures I did in the past.
Also, since I am new to this whole sphere, I am trying to learn as much as I can especially about concept, brushes and techniques. I currently draw using a wireless mouse and it can be limiting. But if I ever get serious about it, I may get a drawing tablet and the pen.

Welcome macchiata, awesome that you are learning krita! I downloaded it and tried it but never got around to learning the intricacies. I've been having some apocalypse dreams myself (probably due to all this steem stuff 😭) art is a good way to get it out if your system though. Itll be fun to watch your progress 😘

It's pretty awesome since Krita is the only that works in my laptop. Also, quick question, can we still use partiko? I heard its not updated anymore.
I still have it on mobile and it works for the most part, sometimes I try to search a user and it comes up empty so it's hit or miss :/
Thanks! I am a bit cautious since usually discontinued software tends to have more bugs and loophole for potential breach.
