Can there be a better time than the spring equinox and the full moon? Everything you start now, you want to finish by the full moon.
According to my belief, the spring equinox begins the new year. Spring is finally here, everything is starting to bloom, when it comes to vegetation. I have also started to grow. It really feels like something new is coming. I also believe how we think when the moon is new and until the moon becomes full. Everything starts from the inside and manifests in the outside!
This little painting is a tribute to the moon goddess Selin who rides a chariot across the sky.

Enligt min tro, vårdagjämningen börjar det nya året. Äntligen är våren här, allt börjar slå ut, näre det gäller växtliheten. Även jag har börjat växa. Det känns verkligen som något nytt kommer. Jag tror även hur vi tänker när månen är ny och fram tills dess månen blir full. Allting börjar från det innre och manifisteras i det yttre!
Den här lilla målningen är en hyllning till mångudinan Selin som åker vagn över himlavalet.

It makes perfect sense that, according to some beliefs, the year begins with spring, as it symbolises life and rebirth – something that is particularly evident in nature, in the flowers, the colours and the new shoots. It is extremely interesting to learn about these beliefs.
On the other hand, the start of the year, linked to spring and the full moon, must be very special, and I wonder, does it refer to the Greek goddess? The moon, with its cycles, always has an influence on the earth. In your beautiful and meaningful painting, you have captured that goddess so well.
