I’m honored to take part in this week’s Splinterlands Art Contest - Week 341, showcasing my latest creation: Sea Genie. Inspired by the lore and the Swamp Spitter, a Common Water Unit character, I channeled my creativity to bring this piece to life through my unique artistic vision.
The Sea Genie simply waits quietly in his dark, deep lair at the foot of Maka Peak. He is the only resident of the Cave of Mysteries, a powerhouse of magical force. The Genie was first summoned hundreds of years ago, and now he is prisoner to the ΛZMΛRÉ summoners, doing only their bidding and little else.

In this Art, I bring to life the Sea Genie, a mystical figure born from the depths of imagination and the vibrant world of Splinterlands. With bold, saturated colors and strong, defined lines, I aimed to capture both his power and mystery. His piercing yellow eyes and confident posture reflect a commanding presence, while his elaborate turban and golden accessories hint at a noble, otherworldly origin.
I chose exaggerated proportions and vivid contrast to emphasize his fantastical nature — not bound by the rules of the real world, but rather existing in a space where magic, strength, and wisdom converge. The dramatic reds, deep blues, and glowing yellows express a balance of calmness and intensity, echoing the duality of the sea: serene yet powerful.
This artwork was inspired not only by the lore of the Swamp Spitter and the water faction, but also by a desire to reinterpret mythical genies through my own artistic lens. Each brushstroke was a dive into creativity, aiming to blend fantasy and personality in one powerful character.
