Cosmic Creations | Edition #9 | A book cover: "The Black Cat"

¡Hola a todos! Estoy contenta de participar nuevamente en esta nueva edicion de las creaciones cosmicas.

Hello everyone! I am happy to participate again in this new edition of cosmic creations.

Como esta edición trata de crear una portada de un libro, yo he decidido realizar una portada para un libro de terror psicológico llamado El Gato Negro, el cuál fué escrito en el año 1843 por Edgar Allan Poe.

Since this edition is about creating a book cover, I have decided to make a cover for a psychological horror book called The Black Cat, which was written in 1843 by Edgar Allan Poe.

El gato negro narra la historia de un matrimonio joven, aparentemente feliz, el cual posee diversas mascotas, entre ellos un hermoso gato negro.

The Black Cat tells the story of a young, apparently happy couple, who owns various pets, including a beautiful black cat.

Pero todo cambia cuando el esposo cae en el mal hábito del alcohol y rápidamente este comienza a dominar su vida y a cambiar su carácter, a tal punto de hacerlo cometer actos sumamente monstruosos y violentos en contra de su gato y su esposa.

But everything changes when the husband falls into the bad habit of alcohol and it quickly begins to dominate his life and change his character, to the point of making him commit extremely monstrous and violent acts against his cat and his wife.

En cuanto a la ilustración, es una ilustracion digital, estilo pixel art, con un aspecto caricaturesco.

As for the illustration, it is a digital illustration, pixel art style, with a cartoonish appearance.

Inicie dibujando al gato sobre un lienzo gris, como el gato seria negro le agregué unos pixeles blanco bordeando toda la silueta.

I started by drawing the cat on a gray canvas, since the cat would be black I added some white pixels bordering the entire silhouette.

Agregué una luna al fondo del gato, para darle un aspecto sombrío y misterioso al ambiente.

I added a moon to the background of the cat, to give a gloomy and mysterious look to the environment.

Y una vez que ya tenia toda la imagen principal, procedí a crear el marco y el titulo.

And once I had the entire main image, I proceeded to create the frame and the title.

Hice un dibujo extra de un libro, al que le agregué la portada, para que más o menos se pueda apreciar una vista previa de un libro con esa portada.

I made an extra drawing of a book, to which I added the cover, so that you can more or less see a preview of a book with that cover.
