Today I want to share with you my latest NFT: Koi Fish Lucky Charm.
Koi fish have great symbolism. To Eastern culture they represent perseverance through hardship and self-fulfillment.
The Koi fish swims against the current through the great river of life, even up a waterfall and upon reaching its goal or destination becomes a great dragon because of its persistence and perseverance.
I have been living in another country for a year, far from my family and it has not been an easy task, I have faced different obstacles but with the help of faith, God and good-hearted people I have been able to swim through those waves of uncertainty and move forward.
That is why I wanted to draw the Koi fish, as a reminder that with perseverance everything can be achieved and to transmit that to the person who acquires my art, that when they see it, it gives them strength and faith to achieve their goals and dreams despite the circumstances they may be living.
I drew it with various colors, simulating the colors of the rainbow to bring joy to my life and surrounded by lotus flowers that signify inner peace and temperance, very important aspects to achieve fulfillment and to be able to adapt to a new country.
CREATIVE PROCESS
To make this NFT I decided to start with a traditional medium such as colored pencils.
I love colors with a creamy quality and so I used Prismacolor premier.
The line art was done with Micron stylographs, I used different tip sizes from 08 to 01 to achieve different effects and highlight the figure of the fish and the lotus flowers.
Then I proceeded to digitize and edit digitally with the help of Photoshop to achieve the final result of the NFT.

Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes mi más reciente NFT: Koi Fish Lucky Charm.
Los peces Koi tienen un gran simbolismo. Para la cultura oriental representan la perseverancia a través de las dificultades y la realización personal.
El pez Koi nada contra corriente por el gran río de la vida, inclusive subiendo una cascada y al llegar a su meta o su destino se convierte en un gran dragón debido a su persistencia y perseverancia.
Llevo un año viviendo en otro país, lejos de mi familia y no ha sido tarea fácil, he enfrentado diferentes obstáculos pero con la ayuda de la Fé, de Dios y de personas de buen corazón he podido nadar por esas olas de incertidumbre y avanzar.
Es por esto que quise dibujar el pez Koi, como un recordatorio de que con perseverancia todo se puede lograr y transmitir eso a la persona que adquiera mi arte, que cuando lo vea le de fuerza y fé para lograr sus metas y sueños a pesar de las circunstancias que pueda estar viviendo.
Lo dibujé con varios colores, simulando los colores del arcoiris para llevar alegría a mi vida y rodeado de las flores de loto que significan paz interior y templanza, aspectos muy importantes para lograr la plenitud y poder adaptarse a un nuevo país.
PROCESO CREATIVO
Para realizar este NFT decidí empezar con un medio tradicional como lo son los lápices de colores.
Me encantan los colores con una calidad cremosa y por eso usé los Prismacolor premier.
El line art lo realicé con estilógrafos Micron, use diferentes tamaños de las puntas desde un 08 hasta un 01 para lograr diferentes efectos y resaltar la figura del pez y las flores de loto.
Luego procedí a digitalizar y editar digitalmente con la ayuda de Photoshop hasta lograr el resultado final del NFT.
