After a month nursing my patient in the hell of South Carolina, I am back to the easel, and the glorious normalcy of the abnormal. I give you some pictures of my studio, and a link to my favorite podcast of which @jompiy and I make up two-thirds of the celebrity cast.
I cannot wait for the Intellectual season to settle in when I can paint all day and blog at night without the indoor guilt that pesters me all summer. These pictures are what I walked into the day after arriving home. It’s a nice spot. I am going to keep it.

And today’s podcast:
?
Your studio is teeming with verve!
I'll be up that way twice in November. I still have to measure my car to make sure I can get one of your collaborations with Rose into it. Have you been able to exhibit it so that I can come pick it up, provided my car can handle it?
My Mom went into the hospital with sepsis. After 7 day release, it was either rehab at a nursing home, or back to her apartment for 24 hour care. I opted for the latter, of course. So many stories. The antibiotic saved her life, but the hospital tried to kill her.
Anyway, she is much stronger now after careful diet and the full on love and care treatment. And my sister lives nearby, so she has lighter duty until December:)
Twice I had to cut a painting in half at the stretcher bars to transport it. You cut in center, pull some staples, and fold it. At home, reattach with metal brackets, re-staple, and viola!
It can be done. Give me a head’s up if you’re nearby and I’ll bake you some bread.
Wonderful!
