Hola amigos de Alien Art Hive! El día de hoy les quiero enseñar esta ilustración sencilla que hice el día de ayer porque tenía ya un tiempo sin dibujar en digital.
El día viernes terminé de ver el anime de Jujutsu Kaisen (lo empecé el jueves, lol), y tenía tiempo sin ver una serie que enganchara tanto y atrapara mi atención. Tanto así que tras terminar la serie le fui a echar un ojo al manga. Empecé por el tomo 79 para no repetir las partes que ya vi, y poder saciar un poco de mi intriga. Algún día le echaré un ojo a las partes ya animadas.
Justo iniciando este capítulo del manga me topé con una escena que me llamó mucho la atención en el anime, que es donde los chicos de la academia quedan al final de la primera temporada, y se reencuentran con Gojo. Esta escena en particular me dio ganas de realizar un dibujo de Megumi ya que es el personaje que más me agrado en la serie.
Es un dibujo sencillo y con un artstyle de anime bastante convencional, el cual utilicé para practicar un poco el cell shading, que es un coloreado más básico, caracteristico de estas animaciones.

Hello friends of Alien Art Hive! Today I want to show you this simple illustration that I made yesterday because I had some time without drawing in digital.
On Friday I finished watching the Jujutsu Kaisen anime (I started it on Thursday, lol), and I hadn't seen a series that hooked me so much and caught my attention for a long time. So much so that after finishing the series I went to take a look at the manga. I started with volume 79 so I wouldn't repeat the parts I already saw, and I could satiate a bit of my intrigue. Someday I will take a look at the animated parts.
Just starting this chapter of the manga I came across a scene that caught my attention in the anime, which is where the boys of the academy are left at the end of the first season, and are reunited with Gojo. This scene in particular made me want to draw a picture of Megumi since she is the character I liked the most in the series.
It is a simple drawing with a fairly conventional anime artstyle, which I used to practice a little cell shading, which is a more basic coloring, characteristic of these animations.
I'll show you the step by step of the illustration, I hope you all like it.
Proceso 🌱 Process
Sketch
Empecé boceteando con la herramienta de marcador un esquema para mi rostro a 3/4, y luego haciendo los detalles caracteristicos del personaje, como su cabello, y vestuario.
I started sketching with the marker tool an outline for my face at 3/4, and then making the characteristic details of the character, such as her hair, and costume.
Culminé con el rostro, y la caracteristica expresión neutra de Megumi.
Base Colors
Extraje los colores base de una imagen del anime, y alteré un poco el tono y la saturación para que fueran más armonicos entre sí.
I extracted the base colors from an anime image, and altered the hue and saturation a bit to make them more harmonious with each other.
Coloring
Empecé a sombrear con figuras planas en un tono violeta que posteriormente alteré con la opción de capa de multiplicar.
I started shading with flat shapes in a violet tone that I later altered with the multiply layer option.
Agregué un poco de rubor para darle más calidez a la piel.
I added a bit of blush to warm up the skin.
Por último, coloreé los ojos.
Finally, I colored the eyes.
En Photoshop le agregué desenfoque gaussiano para difuminar la imagen. Le agregué de fondo una imagen que descargué en Freepik de una calle japonesa, alteré un poco los colores para darle un tono purpura, y luego juegue un poco con los colores y filtros del dibujo original para que se viera mejor con la imagen.
In Photoshop I added Gaussian blur to blur the image. I added a background image I downloaded from Freepik of a japanese street, altered the colors a little to give it a purple tone, and then played a little with the colors and filters of the original drawing to make it look better with the image.
