Hey, I haven't been scripting out this space plot ahead of time. Like at all. So if anyone has an idea for an Arena Opponent for Java, just yell it out in the comments. 10 Kick Points if I use your suggestion. -2 Kick Points if you suggest something that he already fought in the Alien Brute Squad story arc.
I've decided I need to institute some Kick Point penalties in order to prevent the currency from inflating too rapidly.
I am homeless in and around the Redwood City area for the next 5 nights or so. I am uploading this from the Atherton library, one of my "go to" hang outs for free Wi-fi, electricity, and AC.

We seem to have had various pit fights in movies like Thor: Ragnarok and the Mandalorian one. I'd like to see Java fight Thor, but I guess you can't use him. I guess a hydra would be out of copyright.

Thor is definitely in the public domain as long as he doesn't look like Marvel Thor. Besides, mythological Thor has red hair and beard, I would definitely go that route. That being said, I think there are fair use laws for parody or homages... like in the Alien Brute Squad I did have Predator, an Alien exomorph, Alf, a tripod from War of the Worlds... what, else...? Oh, the alien from The Simpsons... I know there were more that I stole.
Of course there is the original Thor. He's been in other things such as Sandman.
I'm sure you've looked into the rules on what you can use. Someone is likely to be checking. I wonder if the lawyers use AI for that now...
