KICKMAN, LLC
Chapter 31 "Injustice!" page 11
by Matt S. Law, Esq.
"I kick the darkness!"
Luthor Alexander (the Third) seems to think that Grayhawk has some surprise up his sleeve. But I think we all know that Lady Crane is going to have to single-handedly defeat the Justice Rangers, lead the Kick Boys on an assault against The Supreme Leader and become the new sovereign of White Crane City.
Cecil will never see it coming.
I m uploading this comic from a bench in the John Wayne Airport in Santa Ana, CA. The first flight of my three-flight journey was delayed by four hours which would force me to miss my second flight so I had to cancel the flight altogether. The best alternative flight I could find is 36 hours later. So, waiting to see if a friend can pick me up and let me crash at his place for another night. Otherwise I shall become Tom Hanks in that movie where he lives in that airport. Fortunately, I don't need to be in Florida until Wednesday, so I am still okay on that front.
Yay.

Here is a timelapse video of this week's comic strip:
Aren't superpowers a form of magic? They seem to defy science anyway.
Good luck with the travel. I'm not a big fan of airports and wouldn't want to spend longer than necessary in them. Once had about 7 hours at Sydney when flying back from New Zealand. It wasn't really worth going into town as we had already been. That was tedious.

"Aren't superpowers a form of magic?"
You would think! Batman and Superman both are famous for muttering "I hate magic," in the comics. It's one of those weird disconnects in comic world logic.
Like the world loves The Fantastic Four, but hates the X-Men. Because the Fantastic Four are normal humans that got their powers from space, and the X-Men were born with their powers therefore they can't be trusted.
Just shrug and move on.
Well Batman's power is riches. Some do bug me like how Hulk managed to get a load of mass from nowhere, but we have to suspend belief for a lot of these things. It's mostly fantasy.
Yeah, it's fun to listen to the pseudo-science explanations of super powers. There was a scene in Firestarter by Stephen King, just a reprint of some memos going back and forth between the scientists studying the pyrokinetic girl. "She raised the temperature by X degrees in so many seconds and only consumed about 13 calories in the process, the same amount she would from just standing there. If you can explain to me where the energy came from I'll have your Nobel Prize waiting for you." Something like that, quoting from memory and I read that in high school...
Looks good!
