A couple of developments here.
First, Kickman finally earned an extra power point and bought himself an alternate power to his kinetic damage boost (or bought an additional Multipower slot if you play Champions).
And second, Angelina reminds everyone that she may be a ditzy sex-kitten, but she was also a super villainess for years.
I almost... ALMOST... published this page with no dialog at all in the last panel. If you go back and look, at the last couple pages I have been gradually darkening the skies. And leaving that last panel blank would have totally changed the mood with the sun setting on both Blush's life and on Kickman and Angelina's relationship. I think all of you would totally be sympathizing with Kickman's demon wife right this instant if she didn't open her mouth and remind you all that she may be a little bit evil.
I'll let you judge for yourselves:
Or... OR! Best of both worlds. If I had a lot more space on this page... I could have had the dramatic silence at the end, followed by Angelina ruining her chance of becoming likeable:
The background rubble is moving around because I used the clone tool to cover up all the dialog bubbles.
Only two or three more pages left to complete this chapter, then we head into the final battle. Kickman and Green Hawk Vs Supreme Leader!

I bet all those guys, in stuffed military suits, with all those medals, think that this was just casualties of war.
What would they think (if like aliens showed up and) if they were shown that this was the beginning of the end for the govern-cement (and maybe civilization)?
All of this happened because you couldn't deal with one city, in an appropriate manner. Because you stuffed suits wanted a little war
Aliens already showed up once in Hive Valley. Sheena taught them a lesson about humans and unfettered violence....
