I haven't been following the World Cup. The closest I came to that was watching all 3 seasons of Ted Lasso. Nothing against soccer, I also haven't watched any Super Bowls or NBA games in like 20 years. While I don't care much for sports, I do really enjoy movies about sports, probably because an entire season is encapsulated in under 2 hours. :oD

Yes, we tend to say sport over here, but then we also say maths. Cultural differences.
