The Forgotten Easter Egg on #trippythursday

Here is one last forgotten Easter egg that has cracked for this #trippythursday by @blacklux

The most colorful and zany egg was lost in an alternate dimension and finally cracked under the pressure. It will site like this for another 1,000 years until jus the right conditions let another holiday object fall into this same dimension. Perhaps next time it will be a Christmas ornament or a Jackolantern...

Here are all the layers that went into this lost Easter egg. As you can see most of it was built with fractal textures layered over each other. The only part that isn't fractal is the egg shape itself which I traced in Illustrator to use as a masking object for the fractals.

Here are most of the different elements that went into the mix. I started noticing a number of different egg shaped fractals appearing in my Jwildfire mutagen window. So I decided to make use of them in a simple composition. Top middle is the basic illustrator vector I created to mask out the cracked eggshell.

It has every artificial coloring known to man in it. The only natural coloring is red lake 40 made out of cactus bug guts lol.
