This one is personal because I have hallucinations, and they came back with a vengeance some months ago. It's something I try to hide and avoid thinking about, something I live with......my dips into insanity. There is no longer any doubt, that i have definite aspects of being insane.
Thankfully, this has not been happening at night for the last few weeks. But it is something that scares me thinking of it returning.
I've considered writing out what I "see" in order to understand this better. There is usually some reason I have hallucinations, as it is closely tied to fears.
Basically, it happens at night, with me waking up and sitting in bed. As I look around, I see various strange and scary things that my mind conjures up. Gradually, these "things" recede into existing shapes in the room. I am aware that my mind is making up things, but nonetheless, it gives me a huge amount of fear while it's happening.

Oh yeah that is scary, seems like sleep paralysis. I used to have quite painful attacks with dark figures appearing in the room. These ones of yours seem quite vibrant and make a very cool artwork.
