Not long ago my friend Victor posted about Genie 3, and following links, in a roundabout way, I got onto Google Gemini - first time I heard about it, so curiosity killed the cat, and I investigated what it can do. For one thing, I got (most of the time) useful answers from it, but that was not my first concern, because for that I had used the Microsoft Copilot already, and it works similar. Since I am mostly interested in creating AI images I began using it to get a new angle on prompts I had composed on Nightcafe. What I found, aside from it being free of charge, was that the results were high resolution in PNG format, and definitely much different than the various models I used on Nightcafe.

Gemini is good at fonts, even if you don't specifically ask for it in your prompt, like in the above, or else here below, where it even appears twice.

Almost forgot to mention: you can ask for different formats the default would alway be 1:1 square so before entering the prompt, write for example 16:9 format
That should do for now - I plan on using Gemini frequently in future. It seems also there are less restrictions on content I run into with on Nightcafe and also on Bing Image Creator. But I do plan on posting a special selection of Bing Image Creator pieces, as well as some I had done on Artistly. More about this on future postings.

Es ist interessant und geht schnell. Ich verwende meist Prompts welche sich schon vorher auf anderen Apps bewährt haben. Außerdem: auf Gemini kann ich oft etwas machen was auf anderen Platformen blockiert wird, wie z.B. Bing Image Creator, wo man keine 'echten' Menschen prompten kann - wie z.B. Donald Trump. Auf Gemini kann ich das.

Allerdings gibt es ein kostenpflichtiges Upgrade, aber das brauche ich nicht. Ist nicht gerade billig: https://gemini.google/subscriptions/
also, du musst das Format eingeben, ich schreib dann immer 'please render at 16:9' - man kann jedwedes beliebige format eingeben. Wenn man nichts eingibt kommt es quadratisch raus 1:1 also ich sag immer 'please' dann bekommt man auch immer höfliche antworten.
