today I propose a work that wants to be a hymn to the sacredness of the earth. The land is not ours it is we who belong to the land, as the Indian Chief Seattle claimed:
”Teach your children everything we have taught ours: that the earth is the mother of all. Everything that happens to Earth also happens to her children. Spitting on the ground is like spitting on yourself.
The earth does not belongs to man, it is man who belongs to the earth. Everything is connected, like the blood that unites a family. What happends to the earth, also happends to the children of the earth.”

Ciao miei cari amici,
oggi vi propongo un'opera che vuole essere un inno alla sacralità della terra. La terra non è nostra, siamo noi che apparteniamo ad essa, come ha affermato il capo indiano Seattle:
“Insegnate ai vostri figli tutto ciò che noi abbiamo insegnato ai nostri: che la Terra è la madre di tutti. Tutto ciò che capita alla Terra capita anche ai suoi figli. Sputare a Terra è sputare su sé stessi. La Terra non appartiene all’uomo, è l’uomo che appartiene alla Terra. Tutto è collegato, come il sangue che unisce una famiglia. Ciò che capita alla Terra, capita anche ai figli della Terra.”
