Hola a todos, el dibujo que traigo para esta ocasión esta personal, bueno no tanto, pero… el dibujo de hoy es un personaje hecho en base a los personajes creados por la escritora Ruby Dixon y su serie de libros llamada Ice planet barbarian.
Hello everyone, the drawing I bring for this occasion is personal, well not so much, but... today's drawing is a character made based on the characters created by the writer Ruby Dixon and his book series called Ice planet barbarian.
Ice planet barbarian es una serie de libros de ciencia ficción, acción, romance y erotismo así que si eres menor de edad espérate a cumplir 18 años, ve a leer otra cosa que mucho hay XD. Es una serie que recién encontré el año pasado y me avente 32 libros en 2 meses, si, tiempo en el que no dormir.
Me enganche mucho de estos libros porque son maravillosos y creo que voy a escribir una reseña al menos del primer libro y hablando un poco de lo que va en general y mi opinión, los ame y creo que cada vez se deberían conocerlos más, aunque realmente la saga de libros es muy conocida.

I got really hooked on these books because they are wonderful and I think I am going to write a review of at least the first book and talking a little about what is going on in general and my opinion, I loved them and I believe that they should be known more and more, although the book series is actually very well known.
En los libros tenemos a esta especie llamada Sa-khuis, extraterrestres de color azul, muy altos, fuertes y claro muy atractivos, así que como fan de la especie Sa-khuis quise hacer un dibujo siguiendo la descripción de como se ven, al ser de libros no se tiene una imagen de como lucirían, pero si una descripción detallada.
De por si no soy buena dibujando hombres, por años eh dibujado mujeres y eso hace que mi mano busque esos rasgos al momento de dibujar así que busque referencias de imágenes que también me ayudaran a la posición del personaje y a su apariencia.

I'm not good at drawing men, for years I have drawn women and that makes my hand look for those features when drawing so I looked for image references that would also help me in the position of the character and his appearance.
Comencé con estos tres bocetos principales marcando posición, luego forma, pose y demás antes de comenzar a el boceto más limpio.
I started with these three main sketches marking position, then shape, pose and so on before starting the cleanest sketch.
Quise ser muy cuidadosa con los detalles así que cada cosa lo hice en una en una capa aparte para ya una vez definido pasar al lineart final.
I wanted to be very careful with the details so I did each thing on a separate layer and once defined, move on to the final lineart.
Al pintar comencé con el cabello ya que sabía que quería una especie de negro azulado así que ya sabía que tonalidad buscaba.

Los sa-khui son azules, pero pueden ser de diferentes tonos de azules así que busque algún tono azul que me convenciera, quería usar un azul mas oscuro y grisáceo, pero se supone que ellos tienen una especie de coraza en varias partes del cuerpo que les sirven como una armadura natural y querían que se notaran así que termine con este azul frio y no tan brillante.
When painting I started with the hair since I knew I wanted a kind of bluish black so I already knew what shade I was looking for.
The sa-khui are blue, but they can be different shades of blue so I looked for a blue tone that convinced me, I wanted to use a darker and grayish blue, but they are supposed to have a kind of armor in various parts of the body that They serve as a natural armor and they wanted it to be noticed so I ended up with this cold and not so bright blue.
Para la ropa hice una leve investigación, en el libro se menciona que ellos todavía están es una etapa como de la prehistoria, se visten con cuero, pieles, todo hecho por ellos y ese tipo de cosas, igual es ficción, pero quería acercarme mucho a su descripción así que también usé los colores que se dice que es su ropa.
For the clothes I did a little research, in the book it is mentioned that they are still in a stage like prehistory, they dress with leather, skins, everything made by them and that type of Things, maybe it's fiction, but I wanted to get very close to his description so I also used the colors that his clothes are said to be.
Para la lanza también busque referencia y la pinte de ultimo.
Para el fondo me pase del programa Paint tool sai 2 a Photoshop ya que ahí tengo pinceles que me gusta usar para hacer este tipo de fondo que voy a hacer.
For the spear I also looked for a reference and painted it last. For the background I switched from the Paint tool sai 2 program to Photoshop since there I have brushes that I like to use to make this type of background that I am going to make.
Se supone que ellos están en un planeta totalmente helado, así que hay riscos nevados, de hielo y ese tipo de cosas, pensé en hacerlo al fondo rodeado de montañas sin embargo no me convenció algo como tierra nevada, primero no soy fan del color marrón y tanto como de fondo no me convence a la vista así que decidí cambiarlo por dos grandes glaciares o no sé, es un lugar alienígena, las montañas pueden ser azules XD, luego les añadí algunas sombras, nieve acumulada en algunas partes y listo.
They are supposed to be on a completely frozen planet, so there are snowy cliffs, ice and that kind of thing, I thought about doing it in the background surrounded by mountains, however something like that didn't convince me snowy land, first I am not a fan of the color brown and as much as the background does not convince me visually so I decided to change it for two large glaciers or I don't know, it is an alien place, the mountains can be blue XD, then I added some shadows to them , snow accumulated in some parts and that's it.
Este mas que ser un OC es un dibujo para hacerme idea de los sa-khui y me gustó mucho, pero son tantas cosas por tomar en cuenta, en el libro ellos tienen ¡ dedos en la mano y lo olvide así que sus manos son normales, mi error, también olvide que todos tienen cuernos muy grandes y resaltantes, así que volví al dibujo y hice algunos pequeños por arriba.
This, more than being an OC, is a drawing to give me an idea of the sa-khui and I liked it a lot, but there are so many things to take into account, in the book they have fingers in the hand and I forgot so their hands are normal, my mistake, I also forgot that they all have very big and prominent horns, so I went back to the drawing and made some small ones on top.
