Hello on an early Thursday Morning!

How are you doing today? It has been a week since my last update so let’s jump right into it.

Bluesky banned my account. This isn’t news news because it’s been about 3 weeks since I appealed and then I waited for a response and I got nothing so now I can can say my account is gone. Unlike X where you can at least see the page even when the account is suspended, blusky completely takes the account off so no one knows what happened. That’s what I found when I asked someone to look up my page. If anyone has come across any of my socials, you’d know I’m a light to moderate poster and engager. Yet somehow, my account was flagged as “fake, inauthentic, or spam” or that I was aggressively spamming, following, and unfollowing. None of which was 0.001% true. The only thing I’m guilty of is aggressively lazy social media management.

Blusky and Hive are my primary art-posting spaces. Someone suggested I just set up a new account — but that feels wrong, like sneaking back into a house I was kicked out of. No, I won’t do it. It wasn’t just about the peace and quiet (though that was lovely) but unlike X, you can actually curate your feed on Bluesky, and the restricted words and phrases feature works. But it was also that more people who followed me actually see your posts and vise versa. Why else are we following each other? Anyway, I have returned to X and the first thing I noticed is that I don’t get notifications on interactions on my post so yay X.

In other new my pumpkin seeds sprouted and I transplanted outside yesterday. 8 out of 15 where successful and would remain so if the wild birds don’t get them.
