Welcome to another art share from me — and the first one of the year! Happy New Year, folks 🎉 I hope everyone had a beautiful holiday season and got some real rest in.
I’ve basically been on holiday mode since December 20th, with work responsibilities only kicking back in on January 5th, and honestly? It’s been a really pleasant break. No complaints here. The best news, of course, is that we’re alive, well, and my family is doing fine — always grateful for that.
After months of exile, Bluesky finally gave me my account back, and over the past week or so I’ve been slowly easing back into things, reconnecting, dusting off my creative brain, and mentally gearing up for a brand-new art season.
So imagine my surprise when I logged into Hive and discovered that someone had unfollowed me. I didn’t even know that was a thing you would think of doing here except for confrontational reasons or something like that, which honestly made me laugh more than anything else because I was curious on what I had done or said to provoke that action. Naturally, I returned the favor — because new year, new energy, and a little harmless tit-for-tat never hurt anyone. It's a yay thanks to transparency on Hive.
Anyway, we move. Art season is officially loading and kicking off with these little sneak peaks… 🎨✨
