Splinterlands art contest _Ink drawing of RAA

Welcome to my splinterlands art contest post for this week it is amazing to have you all here. This week i would be making my entry to the contest with an ink drawing of the splinterlands character named RAA. This week i intended to try out something new and this is what i did. How interesting his name is as scary as he is. This week i wanted to try out something complex so i choice to make an impression of the card the way i see fit. This would be my first every complex drawing it took me quite some time to finish, i actually worked on this for two days.

• Materials i used for this drawing
  Black & red pen
  2B pencil
  Erazer
  A4 paper

It is quite amazing what this few material can do in the right hands i can tell you for sure that it wasn't easy but it happen and I'm glad it turned out great, i used the cross hatching shading technique for this drawing ,still working on the technique though but I'm glad it turned out great. For a start i made a rough sketch of the image after which i began to draw out the image using a black pen. As i drawing the image added the shadings and details where neccessary just to make things faster. I started to use the pen right from the eyes to get a good perception on how to go about the remaining part. After i was done with my black pen i used the red pen to make some drama on the image giving it a form of attraction. I hope you all like this drawing thanks for stopping by

Thanks dear, i do appreciate your lovely comments. About sunday i don't think i need luck the selections is the set of people only varied and they don't select pen or graphite works also, only digital arts winners. I hope for a change in the system.
