Studio Update 122 - Painting in Brazil - Process Documentation - Rooftop Workspace + Getting a Little Studio for a Week After Having Not Painted in Over a Year

in Alien Art Hive7 months ago (edited)

So since all the dudes at the hackerhouse had jobs working for nouns space or whatever I felt like i had to do something productive. Aside from designing a skatepark mural i wanted to make a painting to get off the computer.

So i created a little painting area on the rooftop of our airBNB

I bought some stretched canvas and some paint at the art store that was in the same neighborhood as our air bnb.

White is my most used color.

My process is all about covering stuff up and re-writing over it

I basically ruin and deface my work in this process. At least i still have a lot to learn, which would be, to stop after one session.. but since i can basically make a cool painting in 30 minutes its kind of a waste of buying a stretcher. So ill just go over ti again and again.

how this one turned out

I ended up giving this one to @alexandrefeliz

I was going to ship them abck tot he US but fed ex that would be $200
and using the postal service in brazil didnt work because International shipping was "down" due to a worker strike lool

made the box and everything

Then just realized i should leave all the art that ive made in brazil here in brazil.

I started another one. Stable diffusion of scenes of my friends

Glad that you got some time to create more art!

thanks for the art 😊🙌

test again

I love all the versions of your art. Lucky friends that received what you left behind.

Just like that traveling art guy before, create, leave behind. Someone else always benefits. :)

very nice .. wish you could bring it to Minnesota!
