Hi, good Morning/Nite!
Hope you’re doing great. I’ve been keeping this one in the drawer for a while – the extended version of the Valora DeWynte card, part of the stuff I’ve been working on for the game made by Marcos.
Every card he asks me for has two versions, the base one and the extended one, and this is the second. It’s actually been done for quite a while, I just never got around to posting it because I was buried in other projects.
The whole idea of these extended versions is to dig deeper into the story, throw in extra details you don’t see in the base version, and make the character or scene feel more alive inside the game’s world. With Valora DeWynte, I really wanted to push her backstory further and give her more presence, adding little layers so her personality pops more.
This one was a bit different to work on though. I had constant power cuts, which meant losing a lot of progress. So yeah… no step-by-step videos this time like I usually do. It was frustrating, but in a way it let me just zone in and finish the piece without distractions – even if I can’t show you how it came together.
With this post, I’m also kind of closing the chapter on all the cards I’ve made for @marcosdk so far. I’ve already shared and talked about each one in past posts, so I’m not gonna repeat myself here. Let’s just say I have a serious thing for details, so yeah… each one took its sweet time.
The other designs in the game are seriously cool – each one’s got something unique to tell and adds to the big picture. A while ago I was looking for this little shark you see here 🦈. It’s really special to me. I won it a long time ago here, n it was done by a person many years ago but also I consider a GREAT GREAT GREAT FRIEND now n who does amazing work , very talented🤗.
I thought I had lost it , I was very sad… but noooo! I got it back! Yes ! He found n sent it to me again, and I’m so happy to have it with me once more.
So from now on, this shark will be keeping me company 💙
