Espero se encuentren de maravilla el día de hoy he venido a presentar una nueva entrada al concurso de Spliterlands, en esta oportunidad he decidido dibujar a Heloise de Hollow según su Lore solía ser la líder de una banda de mercenarios que luchaban en pro de Praetoria y se batían en incontables batallas contra el imperio del Caos, pero estas solían ser fútiles y cada vez se veía rodeada de los cadáveres de sus compañeros y amigos los que términos por destruirla completamente... A continuación les contare un poco del proceso de esta ilustración espero sea de su agrado.

I hope you are having a wonderful day. Today I have come to present a new entry for the Splinterlands contest. This time I have decided to draw Heloise de Hollow. According to her lore, she used to be the leader of a band of mercenaries who fought for Praetoria and battled against the Chaos Empire in countless fights, but these were often futile, and she was increasingly surrounded by the corpses of her comrades and friends, which ultimately destroyed her completely... Next, I will tell you a little about the process of this illustration. I hope you like it.
Fue tanta su frustración en la batalla que se dejo influenciar por las fuerzas del Caos, hasta que escucho una voz en su cabeza que la animaba a nutrirse de su influencia malvada, para obtener un poder hasta ahora fuera de su alcance cuando sucumbió a esta influencia, se lleno de un poder inimaginable, pero perdió de vista su objetivo de una Praetoria libre y feliz y en su lugar solo quedo una sed inmarcesible por el poder oscuro.
Para realizar este ilustración pensé en hacer una chica muy bella y con una actitud algo picaresca y juguetona, el perder su objetivo la hizo cambiar radicalmente su personalidad y ahora solo quedo un ser frio y vacío, justo como su nombre, con su actual poder solo se preocupa por ella misma y seguir obteniendo poderes.
Her frustration in battle was so great that she allowed herself to be influenced by the forces of Chaos, until she heard a voice in her head that encouraged her to feed on its evil influence, to obtain a power until now out of her reach. When she succumbed to this influence, she was filled with unimaginable power, but she lost sight of her goal of a free and happy Praetoria, and in its place only an insatiable thirst for dark power remained.
To create this illustration, I thought of drawing a very beautiful girl with a somewhat mischievous and playful attitude. Losing her goal made her radically change her personality, and now all that remains is a cold and empty being, just like her name. With her current power, she only cares about herself and continuing to gain more power.
Para la base de colores tome referencia directamente del arte original de Splinterlands, y comencé entonces con el coloreado, pinte en primer lugar su piel colocando las luces y las sombras y luego coloque el resto de maquillaje corriendo en ss mejillas por las lagrimas que derramo, luego definí su cabello añadiendo sombras moradas y algunos reflejos en color blanco.
El resto de su vestuario fue igual tenia muchos elementos pequeños así que tuve mucha paciencia para pintar cada cosa y al final termino gustándome mucho el aspecto de Heloise.
For the base colors I took reference directly from the original Splinterlands art, and then I started with the coloring. I painted her skin first, placing the lights and shadows, and then I placed the rest of the makeup running down her cheeks due to the tears she shed. Then I defined her hair, adding purple shadows and some white highlights. The rest of her outfit was the same; it had many small elements, so I had a lot of patience to paint everything, and in the end, I really liked Heloise's look.
Para la elección del fondo fue algo mas complicado, quería ubicarla dentro de un castillo o fortaleza de roca, pero no termino de agradarme por completo, así que opte por dibujar también algunos troncos y algo de vegetación en el suelo, pero conservando el edificio en el fondo, luego re dibuje todo usando un delineado mas colorido, en el fondo también coloque su espada incrustada en una roca, en el arte original una especia de aura de colores emana a través de ella, pero supongo que es mientras ella la blande.
Choosing the background was a little more complicated. I wanted to place it inside a castle or rock fortress, but I wasn't completely satisfied with it, so I decided to draw some tree trunks and vegetation on the ground, while keeping the building in the background. Then I redrew everything using more colorful outlines. In the background, I also placed her sword embedded in a rock. In the original artwork, a kind of colorful aura emanates from it, but I guess that's only when she wields it.
Y finalmente así ha quedado la hermosa y vacía Heloise, a mi me gusto mucho el resultado, aunque dude mucho durante la fase de dibujo y tuve que hacer muchos bocetos de esta idea al final todo resulto bastante bien, espero que este trabajo haya sido de su agrado.
And finally, this is how the beautiful and empty Heloise turned out. I really liked the result, even though I had a lot of doubts during the drawing phase and had to make many sketches of this idea. In the end, everything turned out quite well. I hope you liked this work.
