RE: Looking for a Sorare community

in sorarelast month (edited)

Nice to Sorare is exploring Hive !

I would say have a look at what Splinterlands is doing with the community and content creation here on Hive. They have quite a large stake in Hive Power as they need it to run the game and it's used to reward the community for creating regular content around the game and promoting it on other social media.

Weekly they have the Social Media Challenge (Link) which everyone can enter by creating an article about the game sharing it on other platforms (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Medium, YouTube, Publish0x, Tumblr, LinkedIn, Snapchat) Based on the effort that was put in these get curated by them.

There is also the weekly Battle Challenge( Link) where players can share a battle with a specific game rule which then gets curated.

They also have a weekly Slinterlands Art Contest (Link)

On top of this, they have their own Community interface with splintertalk.io where all Splinterlands content is bundled and where players can earn the SPT token. Something like this can be created on hive-engine.com

In the end, it's mostly about the incentives. If Sorare had an account here with enough Hive Power owned or leased, it would be easy to make people join Sorare and create content around the game sharing it all over the internet to attract more players building a community in the process like Splinterlands has.

Hive is a Decentralized platform run by the community so there is not really such a thing as partnerships. However, it can perfectly be used to onboard and reward existing Sorare users by building a community with them here. It again comes down to having enough Hive Power as that allows to give upvotes which distribute their part of the inflation on the platform. Splinterlands (formerly steemmonsters) that way gives great incentives.

Basically, if you believe in Hive you can really make it work for you. If Sorare let's say was to buy 100k worth of Hive to kickstart things that would give roughly 250k HIVE POWER owned. This in total Daily at current price produces I would say roughly 100$ worth of upvotes (half of that you earn as curation rewards). This can be used to build a community and likely will become worth more during the bull market so it's an investment and not really a cost as it can be sold back at any time if it doesn't work out as hoped. I don't understand why not more companies/games use this as a tool especially at the current Hive price which offers a very nice risk/reward. It's a great way to advertise without actually losing the money that is put into it and likely even earning way more from it over time.

One of the issues I would say with the hive communities system is that users mostly use the ones that reward them the most. For example, I share my Sorare content in Sportstalk Community (sportstalksocial.com) as it's possible there to also earn SPORTS Tokens.

I hope this helps to get a better view on things, if you have more questions on the Hive Blockchain and ecosystem feel free to ask!

2 More Sorare Players here on Hive that I know are @davor27 & @mercurial9

Hi @costanza, very nice to meet you here, thank you for the suggestions, but we are not looking for earnings here, just to promote the game in this social network, so we would like to improve our players and give them some prize as Sorare coins, which you can easily exchange with hive engine platform, so if you want use this community, when you will get new player, you will get your prize here too

Don't get me wrong, I really like the attempt to use Hive to try and promote Sorare. However, just posting a book of text with game rules as a post and the idea for Hive users to earn some Sorare Coins when posting in the Sorare community and getting in a new player won't do anything at all.

The only way to really make this work is to take it Seriously. To make people here care and willing to try out the Sorare game and make content in the Sorare community is when they can get upvotes (This unfortunately is a reality). For the Sorare account to get some real exposure, you likely would need to connect to some of the bigger whales/groups here on the platform making some kind of deal that you will promote the Sorare community on Hive among existing Sorare users and they will help promote Sorare to existing Hive users.

The Hive Model is often referred to as Proof Of Brain, it's not easy to get something going here but when done properly it can be really beneficial. There is so much potential to have a social community here on Hive of all Sorare players who share their experience/journey in the game helping to drive overall adoption.

Dear @costanza, we will not for sure just post game rules, of course you will see soon better things, but we are not looking for upvotes, we want just improve Sorare players, may be you can help us to promote our blog #sorare, we will be grateful with you somehow...
