There's no rifts, a disagreement on a piece of music would never cause such a thing. There's a handful of tracks she doesn't like that I do and I think that's perfectly legitimate...just like we have different tastes in food or any other thing I suppose. We don't disagree on these things, we just have different tastes. I guess it's like a person on Hive who likes what my posts contain, how I write and present them, the photos and such...other people operate in their own sphere of interest like Splinterlands of mushrooms or some such thing; there's no right or wrong.
I'm with you on your Motown friend scenario though, I'd have to throttle her...in the nicest possible way of course.

Of course! 😄 And thank you. I'm glad it's not just me. For the record, I think a bit of tête-à-tête is healthy in a relationship. You see those couples in restaurants, eating quietly side-by-side, not a word between them. I would much rather be arguing about music or literature or even politics than have that awful scenario on my hands!
