RE: Writing about writing

how (and why) one shares it, matters.

that is true. I feel like from my side of the world, the norm seems like a one-sided ideology and I'm not really accustomed to the norms especially if it seems dubious I tend to question things and I wouldn't just agree as others do. but it's fine I guess. anyways, moving forward I'm glad I'm developing myself on hive. 🙂

Sort:

I'm not on social media for many reasons, mainly because it's a waste of time and there's little of value in it, but also because it's full of people who think their opinion is the only one and who present it in a vitriolic manner without care or thought that other people have their own opinions and feelings also. People want to feel validated generally, even if that validation comes from strangers, so they push their ideologies on others from behind keyboards and feel safe being rude, derogatory or venomous towards those who have differing thoughts; this, often despite having little concept of the situations or topics at hand. I guess people like drama, possibly because there's little else in their lives.

Of course, this is just my thoughts on the matter, and why I can't be bothered with social media. Hive is different mostly though, although not totally different. It's goo that you feel your developing here, that's important.
