I am buying and powering up HIve when I can. It usually feels like I am not doing enough. But perhaps it is still better than doing nothing at all. I thought that just example of someone powering up regardless of price may convince others to do the same. But this plan did not lead to desired results- many people who comment on my posts are still powering down. So I changed my plan. Instead of just powering up and sometimes mentioning it in a post I started also gifting some Hive and giving it away in contests. I actually have such Hive power up/ contest post scheduled for tomorrow. The first time I did such contest four people participated and powered up at least 50 Hive. I would still like to see more people powering up at least a few hundred Hive but at least it is a start. Some people powering up is already better than everyone powering down. Maybe in time more people will join my initiative.
