RE: The System Is In It's Death Throes And It Wants To Take Us With It But It Won't Succeed

I think you're wrong on the vegan diet. Not on all fronts though. You're hitting a stereotype I think. I eat a vegan diet, everyone has their reasons, part of mine is health(high risk of heart attack/stroke in my family) and I also try avoid consuming any processed foods and fake meats. You just don't need them when it comes down to it. That's corporate marketing for ya. Protein is not an issue for me either. It shouldn't be for anyone if they are doing it right. People don't understand that you can get enough of that without meat, it's just a matter balancing your diet with the right whole foods. When you look into the long term disease caused by our current processes, factory farming, etc., going "whole foods vegan" is actually a decent alternative but MUCH different than what I see being programmed into people going vegan or who already are. Any diet can be junk when it comes down to it. I follow a vegan group for my area, and constantly slap my forehead at what I read. Some vegans are more concerned about saving animals than their own health, and get excited about the next burger or processed meat that hits the market. It's like virtue signalling with the mask. I wanna pull my hair and tell them to learn to cook, diversify their options, learn about nutrition in greens, fungus, sprouted grains, etc to have a real balanced diet.
Anyway, it's a different vegan perspective, and there are more like me out there. I'm not opposed to people eating meat or anything else for that matter. Enjoy that freedom of choice while you have it.
