Hehehe walks through a park, all alone. He looks sad as he watches kids play and having fun with their families. He gets out his smartphone and looks at a text from Esmeralda von Krauss.
“You need to spend some time alone, as you will not be able to go down to the ring with your brother when he is called or you are called.”
Hehehe kicks a random rock in his path, accidentally sending it into the picnic of a family of four. A mom, dad, and two kids. The mom screams in anger as the rock strikes one of her children and the dad gets up to address Hehehe.
The dad gets into Hehehe’s face and pokes him in the chest.
Dad - Hey! Watch where you’re kicking those rocks! You struck my son in the shoulder!
Hehehe looks and sees that the mom is comforting the wounded son. He reaches out with his hand, obviously saddened by the accident.
Hehehe - Oh! We are -
He looks around for his brother to finish his sentence, but then remembers that his brother is nowhere to be seen. The dad looks at him like, “What the fuck are you doing?”
Hehehe - I’m so sorry. I didn’t see him there.
Dad - You didn’t see him? You make me sick. Why would an idiot clown like you be out here in the park scaring kids?
Hehehe - Why are you calling me names? That’s mean!
The dad shoves Hehehe back a step or two, the short, round clown allowing the action, but looking upset about it.
Dad - Who is the mean one? My son might have a bruise on his shoulder because you were an idiot and didn’t look to see what you were doing!
Hehehe - I was just -
The dad shoves him again.
Dad - I don’t hear an apology.
Hehehe - I was -
The dad shoves him yet again.
Dad - If what you have to say isn’t “Sorry I was a jackass”, I don’t fucking want to hear your mouth flap.
Hehehe - I just -
The dad shoves Hehehe again. Hehehe is starting to look angry at the abuse.
Hehehe - Look.
The dad goes to shove the clown again, but is grabbed by the right arm instead. Hehehe casually squeezes and the sounds of bones breaking is heard loud and clear. The dad leans over, not quite able to drop to his knees.
Dad - Lemme go! Lemme go!
Hehehe - Look here. I am sorry that this happened to your son, but I really didn’t know that the rock was going to hit him. You being a jackass does not help.
Dad - I’m sorry! I’m so sorry. Let me go!
Hehehe releases the dad, who looks at his arm that folds in the middle of the forearm in shock. His wife comes to get him and leads him back to the picnic, where they start packing up.
Hehehe begins walking away from the incident, shaking his head as he looks down at his feet.
Hehehe - We have a battle royal. I could team with my brother, but he might be called down at a different time than me, so we might not see each other at all. Still…a win will be a win once we are done.
A voice calls out from behind the clown, making him stop in his tracks.
“Hey! Stop right there!”
Hehehe looks to see that a policeman on foot is rushing toward him. He stops and waits.
Cop - You assaulted that man. You are under arrest!
Hehehe just shrugs.
Hehehe - I was defending myself. He attacked me first.
Cop - And who is the one who is hurt? Not you. You get to be the one arrested.
Hehehe - No. I defended myself. I have the right!
Cop - A freak like you? You don’t have that right. You have no rights at all!
Hehehe - Freak? I am a CLOWN! You DARE!
The clown charges the cop and takes him down with a shoulder charge. He straddles the cop’s midsection and begins punching him in the face with his right hand, over and over, as he chants.
Hehehe - I am a clown! I am a clown! I am a clown!
The clown stops smashing the cop in the face when his fist meets the ground. He looks down at the cop with the crushed skull. Blood is everywhere. On the ground. On the cop. On Hehehe. He stands up and smiles awkwardly.
Hehehe - Oopsie.
The clown gets out a smartphone and begins looking at it with care as if trying to figure out how to work it. Other people nearby have their phones out, recording what’s going on for their live streams. Hehehe figures out what he’s doing and places a phone call.
Hehehe - Esmeralda…I need help. It’s happened again.
Esmeralda von Krauss - What has happened again, dahling?
Hehehe - It should be on Facebook by now.
Esmeralda von Krauss - Let me see. Oh no. I see you by a dead body. I’ll be right there to take care of things, dahling. Don’t go anywhere.
Hehehe - Alright.
The clown hangs up the phone and looks down at the dead police officer.
Hehehe - You attacked me. I defended myself. Just like I did against that guy. Just like I will against all of the others that come at me in the Battle of Britain match thingie. I will come out the winner…or my brother will. One of us will win the day.
Esmeralda von Krauss arrives just as police do.
Esmeralda von Krauss - I can explain everything…
