Freedom of Speech - Prompt: speak up

in Freewriters2 years ago

Talking loudly and clearly to place a problem is sometimes really necessary. Especially if everything involves an important issue and must be conveyed. No matter the outcome, the main thing is that the main point of what you want to convey or explain has been conveyed.

Indeed, speaking up can sometimes bring new problems. Especially when it comes to different views, intentions, or visions. Especially if it's dealing with people who are difficult or don't want to understand other people's views. As a result, usually, only futility will be found in the end.

If in conditions like the above, it is usually necessary for the parties to take a middle ground so that the problem can be taken as a middle point or just as a witness. So that everything can end with an ending that does not drag on. A definite awareness in conveying something with different views can indeed occur anytime and whatever the problem is. Not questioning who is right or wrong, the essence of what we are talking about is so that the reasons for each of the two parties can be found and it is hoped that a solution can be taken in the future.

But there are also typical people who don't want to bother, give in, or keep quiet. Don't want to talk about explaining the main problem in his view because of the nature and sometimes by the conditions or thoughts of the person concerned. Speak up for them is sometimes a taboo subject, or a step that can exacerbate the problem.

In the modernization era now with the presence of social media that is so free and present. Things to convey an aspiration to speak up and hope to be known by many people are more often found by everyone these days. It was different in the past, where freedom of expression was so suppressed and prohibited.
But for some authoritarian countries, this can still be found today. For example, such as North Korea where the thing for its people to be able to speak up loudly on everything cannot be done. Let alone to speak up, their existence is strictly regulated by rules that are so unusual for an era in which freedom of rights and human rights is echoed.

In fact, for any period of time, this will happen no matter how advanced it gets. Because of the existence of law and the nature of humans who feel themselves above everything or cannot be regulated, they are still there.
