It has been a month since I have been in Slovenia. It was very cold when I arrived here and the city looked very depressing as all the trees were completely free of leaves and all the trees and plants looked dry and dead.
It was indeed a strange sight for me as I have never really stayed or experienced peak winter in any of the Countries I have been to
.
So today it was very refreshing and quite pleasant to say the least to witness this tree (which I see almost daily) finally flower and recovering to its beautiful self.
It kind of reminded me that not all times are here to stay, we might think that a certain difficult time arrived in our life and it will stick with us forever. We over think that we will never recover out of it yet we need to remind ourselves in such moments that difficulties will pass with time. Over time we will learn how to handle tough times and cope accordingly so that we never die out or fail completely in our minds.
In the end it all about conditioning our minds just like how we condition our body.
How many times do we go to the gym or workout at home to keep our body fit and healthy yet we never apply the same theory to our minds. It never occurs to us that our minds need some kind of attention to truly keep ourselves completely health in terms of mental health.
Let us remind us today to take care of not only our physical health, but also our little mind that resides peacefully within us.
