What do I see?
I see a lone time, that is being away from the world's noise, away from people. Just me having time for myself to reflect on my actions and what to do.
For you see, humans are like the animal in the image above. After constantly showing up for others, we sometimes become withdrawn. You'll hear people say, "I need some alone time," or "I need time for myself to think or reflect on my decisions."
We often misunderstand that, we assume they are avoiding people, acting proud, or distancing themselves for the wrong reasons.
But not every silence is a sign that something is wrong. Sometimes, silence is where clarity is found.
What do I feel?
I feel that, there are seasons when the mind needs rest from the endless conversations, opinions, and expectations of others.
Stepping away for a while gives us the chance to ask ourselves honest questions, learn from our mistakes, and realign with what truly matters.
I've come to believe that some of our greatest growth happens when no one is watching. It is in those quiet moments that we gather strength, find direction, and prepare for what lies ahead.
So, when someone chooses solitude, don't be too quick to judge.
They may not be running away from people, they may simply be making room to hear themselves again.
Sometimes, the time we spend alone is exactly what we need to return wiser, calmer, and more certain of who we are.
