I always wake before sunrise. I get up splash water in my face. Give thanks for small mercies. Check my email and social media. Sometimes coffee or tea. Turn on the television to catch the madness per usual. Day has begun for me. I write my first piece. Might be poetry or an essay for my blog. When the light opens the day I do breakfast. Get my energy up to stake my claim and capture the worm.
