John nodded silently, getting lost in the depths of those chestnut lagoons that he loved so much.
Taking a sip of his coffee, John let the rich aroma transport him to other sunsets shared with his beloved.
He remembered the endless conversations by that same window, embroidering dreams and illusions on the canvas of the afternoon as night fell silently.
Suddenly, Mary placed her hand on John's, a gesture as warm and familiar as the coffee they were drinking.
