The traveling violinist

José learned to play the violin without a music teacher, just following his grandfather's instructions, every afternoon under some mango trees, the grandfather explained to him and with practice he was gaining skill with the strings. The family of young José moved to the city, where there is a house of culture, the teacher in charge of the violin class arranged for José to receive a scholarship. Since he began to attend violin classes he stood out for his impeccable execution of the instrument, 5 years passed between concerts, rehearsals, workshops, private presentations.

In a cultural exchange made in the house of culture, they met José the violinist, who received an invitation to be part of the National Youth Orchestra of Venezuela, that required traveling to the capital. He accepted the challenge as he liked it very much. He takes advantage of his stay in the capital, social relations are expanded, life in the capital is more demanding.

José begins to give private violin lessons, accepts invitations to play at weddings and other events. José feels that he is stagnating, but thanks to his vision to achieve more, he decides to travel to Ecuador, here he lasts two years, while he makes contact to travel again.

The day arrived, José boards a plane with a suitcase full of plans and his inseparable friend the violin, heading to Belgium. When he arrives at the airport, the first thing he does is to take out his violin and begins to give his particular concert to all the strangers who approached him and with applause and more applause asked for another interpretation. Today, José is part of the Belgian Symphony Orchestra.
