The Paradox Within

I am peace yet harbinger of strife,
Bounty and privation intertwined.
Within my soul contrasted states unite,
An inner landscape shifting, contramined.
Calm ocean waves and tempest's raging roar,
Both find expression in my changing frame.
Absence and plenty, joy and shadows more,
Through me all experiences claim their name.
A paradox of irreconcilable things,
Cohesion from opposing forces springs.
From inner schism creative tension wrings,
New understanding each contrast brings.
Thus through embracing life's full spectrum hue,
My deepest truth and purpose comes into view.
